The lidded jars are thrown and set aside overnight too firm up. The lids are then pressed over a pre-made mould.

The moulds are made by first designing the pattern an CAD (Computer Aided Design), then machined into a block of pre cast plaster. The original idea came from looking at glass ware from the 1930’s. The decorative ware of cut looking glass provides a real focus point of interest that i wanted to capture in my own work.
